Advanced programming for older Scouts. the Winter Survival Weekend program is intended for 1st Class Scouts with at least 2 weeks of camping experience under their belts. This program is not for the faint of heart!<\/p>\n

Join capable Scouts as they learn Survival Skills in Winter, low resource conditions.
\nLearn to set up emergency shelter and sleep in it overnight. Learn to scavenge for food, set traps (No animals are harmed or eaten), manage the cold, learn cold weather safety and injury prevention along with general camping skills.<\/p>\n

When enough brave Scouts sign up, Winter Survival runs over the Martin Luther King Weekend. Stay tuned!
